But the strong will endure it. The strong will allow the fire to cleanse us of what cannot go with us the rest of the way. Only those who have been in the fire can carry His flame. He knows you are done in the heat when He can see a reflection of Himself in you. Know that when the process is finished, He will temper you as well. Like steel, strong enough to hold an edge. Trust that the Lord does not do this to those who He knows cannot handle it. God does this to the ones He has purpose for. One does not create a tool to have it sit and rust.
Do not pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a hard life. Deus Vult.
