The Ottomans were expanding west, after defeating the island of Cyprus and killing the Christian defenders there. Cyprus was conquered by Richard the Lion Heart centuries earlier and was a strong Christina nation at the time. The Ottomans felt emboldened and started to attack the Venetian Christian’s.The Christian Nations formed together and founded a fighting force known as “The Holy League”. Outnumbered, the Holy League dominated the seas over Greece, Christians lost only 15 ships where the Ottoman lost 40,000 troops including their commander. The Ottoman commander was captured and beheaded on the spot. This proved to the world that the Ottomans could be defeated. This was one of the worst defeats ever by the crescent.
You ever wonder why the Islamic world attacks on dates like October 7th or September 11th and other dates of history? It’s because they are trying to find victory from their historical embarrassing defeats. God bless and peace be with you. Deus Vult!

It is true that bloodlines matter not, that it is only in Christ we are saved. I post this not to Boast. I am honoring the amazing achievements of Christian’s of the past. I look to the Bible always. However, if I know the struggle of one of my ancestors, I learn from their lessons as well. Like: I got a flat tire, but did your village get overrun by a Caliphate today? No? Ok, well I think you can handle the tire 😂 God Bless and Peace Be with you
