I am asking everyone to PLEASE pray for my buddy Wayne. Wayne and his wife BOTH began fighting cancer very shortly after retiring. She is doing better but Wayne is not...and Ill leave it at that. BUT...what an inspiration this man has been.
I worked with Wayne for about 15 years. Now I go fishing with him when he is not fishing in tournaments, which still to this day is pretty much weekly. He publicly professes his love for Christ and keeps on going every day. I have sat in the back of the boat watching him fish wonder how he can be so strong. Just fishing away and smiling the whole time and it could very well be his last day in the boat. But I know deep down it has to be a constant thought. His (displayed) strength is amazing.
Anyway, he has made it beyond the Doctor(s) expectations. There is no doubt God has his arms around him.
