Benediction
Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you direct my way unto you, and make me and all of us to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you; to the end that we may establish our hearts unblameable in holiness before you, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
Amen.
Scripture
Psalm 119:1-3, 101-105 (ESV)
Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord!
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart,
who also do no wrong,
but walk in his ways!
I hold back my feet from every evil way,
in order to keep your word.
I do not turn aside from your rules,
for you have taught me.
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through your precepts I get understanding;
therefore I hate every false way.
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
This Is The Word Of The Lord! Thanks Be To God! Amen! Hallelujah!
We made it to Friday! We enjoyed a great Roundtable last night being reminded by our dear friend and Brother Sir Eric to not take ourselves too seriously and enjoy a lightened heart and spirit. I needed that as the work week has been heavily laden with stress as there have been management moves causing some of us to leave our usual routines and take on new and challenging roles and assignments. And relocating our yard assignments I am now 50 miles further away from home adding to my commute and my stress level. Just cause the going gets tough we don’t turn from the Lord. In fact I’ve drawn closer. Thanking Him for His Living Word which is truly a ‘lamp unto my feet and a light upon my path.’ But it’s great to have balance and my new born again life has also blessed me with an informal rule known in recovery circles as rule 62 ‘Don’t take yourself too darn seriously!’ I for one needed the message last night to ‘lighten up!’ Amen! Deus Vult beloved brethren!
