The Word Became Flesh
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.
9The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
This is the Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God!!!
Thank you dear brethren for the honor and privilege of being accepted into this visionary and time honored eternal Order. As I enter into prayer and meditation this morning and begin my daily discipline, I cannot help but reflect and rejoice on the wonderful experience of hearing all of your testimonies and witness during last nights Roundtable. I was impressed by Brother Brian Johnson’s personal witness and his reflective comments on liturgical versus evangelical prayer and worship. I embrace our common ground in our believe and dedication to Christ and welcome the diversity found in our various denominational rubrics. SGT Lakeem shared a deeply personal move from evangelical Christianity to embrace what he found edifying in the structured order of the Catholic liturgy and I deeply respect that. Having gravitated myself from a liturgical and structured Lutheran background and now embrace a Baptist theology I appreciate and deeply respect that. I was always told as a Lutheran I was the ‘most Catholic Lutheran ‘ my fellow parishioners had ever seen and today I am willing to embrace every denomination into my worship and praise practice as I believe when Christ said there were many rooms in eternity for us in His heavenly mansion he did not envision specific rooms for baptists, Catholics, Methodists or Orthodox Christians, but embraced the Church Universal. A profound evening of personal witness indeed. My morning devotion centers on Christ being the true Light of the World and being that very light and Sir Rich Roller gave poignant testimony to bringing his brothers through battle as a vessel and guardian of that very light. I thank you all for your military service to our great country and today in service to our Lord and Savior Christ. I recognize and appreciate that coming from a family steeped in military tradition going back to the First World War. I myself was unable to serve due to my vision issues, I will share more about that later. Long story short I was going blind and through His miraculous healing my vision was restored to perfection, unfortunately not in time for me to serve as I was declined at Fort Hamilton back in 1979 and that broke my heart and my spirit. More on that in future shares. But the Lord had plans to prosper and help me and I flourished where He saw fit to plant me. But I appreciate and love you all dearly, and take seriously these vows to assist in my part to help bring the light. I am honored to stand amongst giants and I thank you dearly for helping bring me to a living Faith in Christ Jesus. Amen. Be bold today for Christ! Deus Vult!
