Centuries ago, pilgrims left the safety of their homes to journey toward the Holy Land.
They carried little.
They faced uncertainty.
And they traveled because their faith told them the destination was worth the risk.
The Templar stood along that road for a simple reason:
**So others could continue their journey.**
That idea still speaks to us today.
There are people around us searching for God who may never enter a church on their own.
Some are discouraged.

Some are discouraged.
Some have lost their direction.
Some have been wounded by life.
Some simply need someone willing to walk beside them.
Our modern mission is not to guard an ancient road to Jerusalem.
It is to **keep the road to Christ open.**
Invite someone to church.
Call the brother who has disappeared into silence.
Help the family going through difficult times.
Mentor someone who lacks direction.
Speak openly about your faith when others are afraid to.
Pray with someone who is struggling.
Sometimes protecting the road means nothing more complicated than ensuring that another person does not have to walk it alone.
This week, ask yourself one question:
**Whose road can I help make easier?**
Because perhaps the most Templar thing we can do today is not to dream about the knights who protected pilgrims centuries ago.
It is to become the person who helps someone take one more step toward Christ **today**.
Keep the road open.
Carry the Light.
Serve without expecting recognition.
And trust God with where the journey leads.
