After completing all of my CAA/SAA classes and continuing to serve, learn, teach, and contribute to our community, I have been promoted from Sergeant to Sergeant First Class.
I am truly grateful for this recognition, but I also see it as something much greater than a new title or rank.

This promotion reminds me that leadership is not about standing above others—it is about standing beside them.
It means being willing to answer questions, share what I have learned, encourage those who are struggling, and help the next knight along the path. It means continuing to grow in faith, knowledge, character, and service.
I am especially thankful for the brothers and sisters who have encouraged me along the way. None of us reaches these milestones completely on our own. Iron sharpens iron, and we become stronger when we learn from one another and lift one another up.

I pray that I can continue to live up to the responsibilities of this rank and, more importantly, continue to live according to God's will.
May this new rank not be a destination, but another step in the journey.
