For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
Watch therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things… and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
Those who will be left behind are those who reject Christ, delay repentance, love sin more than God, or think they have plenty of time to get right with Him.
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Matthew 24:40–41
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Jesus warned us to stay ready because His coming will be sudden.

Today is the day to examine your heart. Don’t wait until it is too late. Jesus is still calling people to repentance, forgiveness, and eternal life.
