THE GREATEST GIFT GOD HAS GIVEN TO THE CHURCH: THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The Holy Spirit is not optional for the believer He is essential. He is God’s greatest gift to everyone who follows Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit, the Christian life cannot be lived in the power God intended.

The Holy Spirit is not optional for the believer He is essential. He is God’s greatest gift to everyone who follows Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit, the Christian life cannot be lived in the power God intended.
Even our Lord Jesus Christ showed us this truth.
From His birth until about the age of 30, Jesus lived in obedience and wisdom, but His public ministry had not yet begun. When He was baptized in the Jordan River, the Holy Spirit descended upon Him, and after His time of fasting and testing in the wilderness, He began His ministry in the power of the Spirit.
The Bible declares:
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38
Jesus Himself did not begin His public ministry until He was anointed by the Holy Spirit. If the Son of God ministered in the power of the Holy Spirit, how much more do we need Him today?
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave His disciples one command:
Tarry… until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke 24:49
He did not tell them to preach immediately. He did not tell them to rely on knowledge alone. He told them to wait until they received the Holy Spirit.
Then came the Day of Pentecost.
Acts 2:1–4
The Holy Spirit was poured out, and everything changed.
Peter, who once denied Jesus three times out of fear, stood before thousands and boldly preached Christ. About 3,000 people were saved in one day (Acts 2:41).
The apostles healed the sick, cast out demons, and boldly proclaimed the gospel.
The ministry of Paul became so powerful that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were used by God to bring healing and deliverance.
Acts 19:11–12
This was not human ability.
This was the power of the Holy Spirit.
Today, nothing has changed.
We still need the Holy Spirit.
He is our Comforter.
He is our Teacher.
He is our Guide.
He is our Strength.
He convicts us of sin, empowers us to live a holy life, gives us boldness to witness, and prepares us for the coming of the Lord.
Jesus promised:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… Acts 1:8
One day, the trumpet will sound, and Christ will gather His people. Every believer should be ready for His return, living faithfully in Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.
So ask yourself these questions:
Have you truly received the Holy Spirit?
Are you walking daily under His leading?
If Jesus returned today, are you ready to meet Him?
This is not the time to be spiritually asleep.
This is the time to seek God with all your heart.
Cry out to Him.
Ask Him to fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit.
Let your life become a vessel through which God can reveal His power and His glory.
The Holy Spirit changes ordinary people into powerful witnesses for Christ.
Don’t live without the greatest gift that heaven has given to the Church.
If this message has blessed you, share it with others. Someone you know may need this reminder today.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
