The Rose of the Commandery
Among the oldest traditions whispered within the ancient commanderies of the Knights Templar is the story of a crimson rose that bloomed in the courtyard of a stone fortress overlooking the roads to Jerusalem.
It was unlike any other flower.
Through the heat of summer, the cold of winter, and the fiercest desert winds, its petals never withered.
