Yes, but we live such short lives, correct? The Last Days began when Jesus was crucified.
Jesus warned that the last days would bring “nation against nation” and “kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:7). He also spoke of “distress of nations” and people overwhelmed by fear (Luke 21:25–26). The word nation can also describe a people or ethnic group so the hatred and conflict we see between peoples should make us pause and take His warning seriously.
But Jesus also said, “See that you are not alarmed” (Matthew 24:6). We can stay watchful without pretending we know the day or the hour. Our calling is to pray, love our neighbors, stand for truth, and remain faithful to Christ even when the world feels shaken.
