Good morning, Brothers and Sisters๐๐ผ
There is something many of us carry that we never talk about. Not out loud. Not even in prayer sometimes. It sits somewhere behind the ribs, quiet and heavy, and it sounds like this:
Am I doing enough? Am I good enough? Is God disappointed in me? ๐ฟ

Maybe your prayer life is not what it used to be. Maybe you look at other people's faith and it seems so steady, so sure, while yours feels like it is held together with tired hands and good intentions.
And in that quiet, honest place, a part of you whispers: He must be disappointed.
But here is what God actually says about you:
Psalm 103:13โ14 - "As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust."
He remembers ๐ค
He remembers that you are human. That you get tired. That some mornings the faith comes easy and some mornings it takes everything you have just to say His name. And not once has He looked at you and thought, "Not enough."
Because the world measures everything. Your performance. Your consistency. And somewhere along the way, we started measuring our faith the same way. As if God is keeping score. As if love has a minimum requirement โจ
But He does not say He tolerates you. He says He has compassion on you. The same tender compassion a parent feels when their child is struggling and doing their best and it is messy and imperfect and beautiful all at once ๐ฑ
You are not disappointing Him. You never were ๐
The prayer you whispered half-asleep last night? He heard it. The Sunday you stayed home because your body could not go? He was there with you. The faith that feels small and shaky? He is holding it like it is the most precious thing in the world. Because to Him, it is.
So put that weight down today. He is not standing over you with a checklist. He is kneeling beside you with open arms ๐๏ธ
Heavenly Father, forgive us for believing we could disappoint You out of Your love. Thank You for knowing exactly what we are made of and choosing us anyway. On the days our faith feels small, remind us that Your compassion is bigger than our doubts. We are not perfect. But we are Yours. And that has always been enough. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

With grace and love,
