This is exactly what our bi-weekly Round Table meetings accomplish. It gives us all a place to share our struggles and /or accomplishments with brothers and sisters as GOOD witnesses. Witnesses who listen and stand strong with discretion, un compromised and love without admonishment or judgment. We humans and Christians need this more now than ever before. Should to Shoulder Brothers and Sisters.

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters. I have landed at a church I now call home.
Sunday's sermon left me with shivers. The sermon started with, "I don't know how, but he will provide". Re: Elijah & the Widow of Zarephath. The pastor spoke of a real life.. "I don't know how , but he will provide" experience.

Sunday's sermon left me with shivers. The sermon started with, "I don't know how, but he will provide". Re: Elijah & the Widow of Zarephath. The pastor spoke of a real life.. "I don't know how , but he will provide" experience.
The story begins with a five year old boy, a middle son, who was suppose to be asleep. This boy heard his mother say, "we are out of food and almost out of money". Then the boy heard the father say,
"I dont know how , but he will provide". The family was a Christian family who did everything right, worked hard, followed a noble and faith filled path.
The father in the this story was studying to be a pastor. At this father's church was an elderly women. This women had no family, husband, son, daughter or cousins etc. The elderly women observed and was a spiritual part of the church. Not long after that young boy heard his mother tell his father, " I don't know how, but he will provide", the father received a call from a law firm in town to inform him that he and his family were awarded the entire estate of that elderly woman in their church. That kind women was a WIDOW, and the last heir to a huge pharmaceutical company. She gave all that was hers to this man and his family.
The young boy in this true story is the father of the pastor whom spoke this sermon. The man in the story was the pastors grandfather.
The teaching pastor was quick to point out that "how he provides" may not always be the way as in this story, but......
" I don't know how, but he will provide"!!
I am learning fast! still so much to learn!
Peace be with you all!

Lord, it looks as if today will be just another ordinary day.
Things will probably tick over nicely, with no major ups and downs, with nothing unexpected.
But lord, I pray that you will break into the sheer ordinariness with your touch, your light, your life.
Lord, surprise me with a fresh assurance of your presence even today.
Sustain me in my spirit.
Renew within me a sense of life as an adventure with you, I pray.
I Jesus' name.
Amen

Last nights Round Table was on point and much to ponder! As I grow and earn my faith, I am working to learn and follow the virtues of a true Knight as I read through "Knights of Christ" . As I did not decide to start this wonderful journey driven by titles or promotions, but to stand with you like minded brothers and sisters in the bright light to be counted and ready to stand during some very dark times both international and domestically. Thank you for allowing me to share your light!

Young men, in the same way, be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, " God opposes the proud but gives to the humble." Humble yourselves therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Knights Templar, Brothers and Sisters. I am proud and humbled to share this bright light of all that is good with you. I am on my faith journey with lots of questions. Better late than never. Thank you for your love and guidance . I found a good prayer in my prayer book( A book of Payers) I would like to share as I am still learning ways to share and express my feelings, thoughts and prayers properly:

'COMING NEAR TO GOD
O God you are without beginning or end, you who
are everywhere and in everything. I come to you, even
though I am not always sure of your reality.
I am amazed that you should bother with us human
beings who are often so unconcerned about great issues
of life and eternity. We get so caught up in the mundane
things of life such as watching television and what food to
cook tonight.
Yet you are almighty God: you are the mystery beyond
all mysteries; no one can compare with you. You are above
all things. You created all things. You do not fade at all but
always remain strong.
Help me to know you more deeply, trust you more fully,
and to follow you more closely, I pray.
Amen."
