"Alan Greenspan was a world-renowned financial analyst. He studied graphs and data of the 2008 recession and found that analysts had not accounted for fear. You see, he concluded that Euphoria drives up the business cycle and Fear collapses it.
We also underrate fear. We fear God's promises won't happen. We try to rush God. We get impatient. Consider Abraham and his promise of a son. He let his fear drive him to do things that God did not want. If Abraham had just been patient, he would have seen God's promise come to fruition without his need to act.
When we pray and recognize that God is our source, when we act on His Word, we can live without fear."
Zephaniah 2:3 says, "Seek the Lord, search diligently for Him and regard Him as the foremost necessity of your life."
Micah 7:7 says, "I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me"
Lord, I ask for your forgiveness when I am impatient and try to make things happen in my time rather than wait for you. Thank you for all your promises! Walk with me today so that I may make decisions that bring glory to your name.
