Salvation — A Gift of Grace
Scripture:
«“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
— Ephesians 2:8»
Salvation is not something we can earn. It is not the reward for being good enough, religious enough, or strong enough. Salvation is a gift of God, given to us through faith in Jesus Christ.
We all fall short. We have made mistakes, carried guilt, wandered away, and at times tried to live life in our own strength. But God did not leave us there. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way back to Him.
The cross reminds us that our past does not have the final word. Jesus paid the price for our sin, and through Him we can receive forgiveness, reconciliation, and new life.
Salvation means more than simply being rescued from our past. It means being given a new identity and a new direction. We are no longer slaves to sin. We belong to Christ.
When the enemy reminds you of who you used to be, remember who you are now. You are a person redeemed by grace. Your failures do not have to define you. Your salvation rests in Christ.
Today, do not take the gift of salvation for granted. Thank Jesus for the cross. Trust Him with your life. Walk in obedience, share His love, and live as someone who has been rescued by grace.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of salvation. Thank You for dying for my sins and making a way for me to be reconciled with God. Help me to leave my old life behind and walk faithfully with You. Give me strength to resist sin, courage to share the Gospel, and a grateful heart that remembers what You have done for me. Amen.
Quote
“Salvation is not something we achieve; it is a gift we receive through faith in Jesus Christ.”

Practical Action
Today, take five minutes to thank God specifically for your salvation. Then tell one person what Jesus has done in your life—not to impress them, but to testify to His grace.
Have a blessed day
