There are moments when life feels like a road with no clear direction. You may pray and still feel confused. You may look around and wonder, “Lord, where am I going? What am I supposed to do? Have I somehow lost my way?”

WHEN I FEEL LOST

There are moments when life feels like a road with no clear direction. You may pray and still feel confused. You may look around and wonder, “Lord, where am I going? What am I supposed to do? Have I somehow lost my way?”
But feeling lost does not mean that God has lost you.
God sees the road even when you cannot see the next step. He knows where you are, where you have been, and where He is leading you. Your circumstances may be unclear, but His presence is not.
Sometimes God allows us to walk through seasons where we cannot see far ahead because He wants us to learn to trust Him one step at a time. Faith does not always give us a map of the entire journey. Sometimes faith simply says, “Lord, I cannot see the way, but I trust You to lead me.”
Jesus said:
«“I am the way and the truth and the life.”
— John 14:6»
Notice that Jesus did not merely say He would show you the way. He said He is the Way.
When you feel lost, return to Jesus. When you are confused, seek His Word. When you are afraid, pray. When you cannot see the destination, take the next faithful step.
You do not need to understand everything today.
You only need to remain close to the One who knows the way.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
I feel lost and uncertain right now. I do not always understand where You are leading me, and sometimes I cannot see what lies ahead.
But I choose to trust You.
Guide my steps when I cannot see the road. Give me wisdom when I do not know what to do. Give me peace when my heart is troubled. Help me not to run ahead of You or turn back in fear.
Remind me that I am never truly lost when I am walking with You.
Lead me, Lord.
Hold me.
Correct me when I wander.
And keep my eyes fixed on You.
Amen.
Today’s Action
When you feel lost today, stop before making a decision out of fear. Pray, read a portion of God's Word, and ask:
“Lord, what is the next faithful step You want me to take?”
You may not receive the whole plan—but trust God with the next step.
Remember
I may not know where I am going, but God does.
I may not see the way, but Jesus is the Way.
I am not forgotten. I am not abandoned.
My Shepherd knows where He is leading me.
