I Trust God for What I Need
Scripture:

Daily Devotion
There are moments when we look at our circumstances and wonder, “How will I get through this? Where will what I need come from?” It is easy to allow fear, worry, and uncertainty to take control.
But God calls us to trust Him.
Trusting God does not mean that we will always understand how He will provide. It means believing that He knows what we need before we even ask. Our Father is not unaware of our struggles, our responsibilities, our needs, or the desires of our hearts.
Jesus reminds us:
«“Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.” — Matthew 6:32»
Sometimes God provides immediately. Sometimes He provides through another person. Sometimes He changes our circumstances, and sometimes He changes us while we wait. His provision may not always look the way we expected, but His faithfulness never changes.
We must learn to distinguish between what we want and what we truly need. When our hearts are surrendered to God, we can say, “Lord, I trust You. Give me what I need, and teach me to be content with what You provide.”
Worry says, “What if there isn't enough?”
Faith says, “My Father knows what I need.”
Worry looks at the empty cupboard.
Faith looks at the Provider.
Worry counts what is missing.
Faith remembers what God has already done.
Today, place your needs into God's hands. You may not know where the answer will come from, but you can know Who holds the answer.
A Quote to Remember
“I may not know how God will provide, but I know that God is faithful.”
Prayer
Father, I choose to trust You for what I need. Forgive me when fear makes me doubt Your provision. Help me to stop looking only at what I lack and start remembering everything You have already provided. Teach me patience when I must wait and faith when I cannot see the answer. Provide according to Your perfect will, and give me a heart that is content with Your provision. I place my needs, my future, and my circumstances into Your hands. I trust You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
