Disappointment is something every believer experiences. We pray, hope, and trust, yet sometimes life unfolds differently than we expected. Dreams are delayed, prayers seem unanswered, and people let us down. In those moments, it is easy to question God's plan.

Disappointment is something every believer experiences. We pray, hope, and trust, yet sometimes life unfolds differently than we expected. Dreams are delayed, prayers seem unanswered, and people let us down. In those moments, it is easy to question God's plan.
But disappointment does not mean God has abandoned you. Often, He is protecting you from what you cannot see or preparing you for something greater than you imagined. His timing is always perfect, even when it is difficult to understand.
Instead of allowing disappointment to lead to bitterness, let it draw you closer to Christ. He knows your pain, understands your tears, and promises never to leave you. What feels like a closed door today may be God's way of leading you to a better one tomorrow.
Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep walking by faith. God is still at work, even when you cannot yet see the outcome.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, when disappointment weighs heavily on my heart, help me to trust Your wisdom and Your perfect timing. Give me strength to remain faithful, hope to keep believing, and peace to rest in Your promises. Help me remember that Your plans are always good, even when I do not understand them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
