Divine Father, Creator of all that is seen and unseen, I come before You in humble supplication. I feel the stirrings of a new kind of crusade within me, a calling not of steel and fire, but of spirit and conviction. I ask that You mold me into a modern-day crusader, dedicated to the peaceful yet fierce defense of the Christian faith in this complex age.
Grant me the courage of Saint Paul, who, despite persecutions and hardships, never wavered in proclaiming the Gospel. Pour into me the wisdom of Saint Thomas Aquinas, that I may master the intellectual foundations of my faith and engage in dialogue with clarity, patience, and truth.
Bless me with the heart of Saint Francis of Assisi, that my defense of Christ may be deeply rooted in compassion and service. Teach me to advocate for the marginalized, to stand for justice, and to respond to hatred with unwavering love, knowing that in serving my neighbor, I serve You.
Shield me from the temptations of self-righteousness and the desire for conquest. Remind me that the ultimate victory belongs to love and that my mission is one of invitation, not imposition. Help me to be a voice of reason in times of confusion and a beacon of hope where there is despair.
Equip me with the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Strengthen me to defend the sanctity of life, the dignity of the family, and the freedom of religion against all forms of indifference and hostility.
I dedicate this modern crusade to You, Father, for the sake of the Gospel and the healing of the world. May my life, my words, and my actions bear witness to the transformative power of the cross.
In the holy name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
