Will Christians Go Through the Great Tribulation?
This is one of the most debated questions among Christians: Will the Church be raptured before the Great Tribulation, or will believers go through it?
The Bible gives us important scriptures to consider.

The Bible gives us important scriptures to consider.
Jesus warned His disciples about a coming time of unprecedented trouble:
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Matthew 24:21 (KJV)
Some Christians believe the Church will be removed before this period. They point to passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17, where believers are caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and Revelation 3:10, where Jesus promises to keep His faithful people from “the hour of temptation” coming upon the world.
Others believe Christians will experience at least part of the Tribulation. They point to Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:29–31, where He describes His coming “after the tribulation of those days” and then speaks of His elect being gathered.
Jesus also said:
“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 (KJV)
And Revelation speaks of believers who remain faithful during persecution:
“Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Revelation 13:10
So what should we conclude?
We must be careful not to claim that Scripture says something more clearly than it does. Christians have sincere disagreements about the timing of the Rapture, including pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post-tribulation views.
But one thing is absolutely clear: Jesus is coming again, judgment is coming, and believers are called to remain faithful regardless of what happens.
Our hope should not rest merely on when Christ comes for His Church, but on Christ Himself.
