🩸 THE DIVINE PLAGUE: THE WATERS TURNED TO BLOOD
The Book of Revelation reveals a time when God’s righteous judgment will be poured out upon an unrepentant world. During the pouring out of the third bowl (vial) of God’s wrath, the rivers and springs of water become blood.

📖 Revelation 16:4–7 (NKJV)
“Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying: ‘You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.’ And I heard another from the altar saying, ‘Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.’”
This plague is part of God’s final judgments during the Great Tribulation.
Throughout history, many have persecuted God’s people, rejected His truth, and ignored repeated calls to repentance. During this judgment, God demonstrates His perfect justice.
The rivers and fresh springs the very sources of life become blood. Humanity depends on fresh water every day, but now there is none. The same world that despised God’s mercy now experiences His righteous judgment.
The angel declares that God is completely just because those who shed the blood of God’s servants are now given blood to drink. This is not revenge born from anger but perfect justice from a holy God.
Even the altar in heaven confirms:
“True and righteous are Your judgments.”
God never judges unfairly. Every judgment is holy, perfect, and deserved.
Today is still the day of grace. Jesus Christ continues to call sinners to repentance. But Revelation reminds us that God’s patience will not last forever.
Now is the time to turn to Christ while His mercy is still available.
Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ?
