The Bible reveals a day that is still to come a day when the reign of evil will come to an end. After Jesus Christ returns in glory, Satan, who has deceived the nations for thousands of years, will be captured by the power of God.

The Bible reveals a day that is still to come a day when the reign of evil will come to an end. After Jesus Christ returns in glory, Satan, who has deceived the nations for thousands of years, will be captured by the power of God.
The Apostle John wrote:
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:1–2, KJV)
This is not symbolic of man’s victory over evil. It is God’s judgment upon Satan. The devil who tempted Adam and Eve, deceived the nations, and opposed God’s people will be arrested by a mighty angel sent from heaven.
“And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled.” (Revelation 20:3, KJV)
Imagine a world where Satan can no longer deceive the nations. His lies, his rebellion, and his influence will be stopped by the authority of Almighty God.
During those one thousand years, Jesus Christ will reign over the earth with His faithful people.
“They lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years… Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection… they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4, 6, KJV)
This will be a time of righteousness, peace, justice, and the perfect rule of the King of kings.
But the Bible also warns that after the thousand years, Satan will be released for a short time to deceive those who choose rebellion once again. His end, however, is already determined.
The Scripture says:
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone… and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10, KJV)
This is the final defeat of Satan. Evil will never rise again. God’s justice will be complete, and His kingdom will stand forever.
Friend, this prophecy is not meant to produce fear it is a call to repentance. God’s desire is that everyone should come to salvation through Jesus Christ before that great day arrives.
Jesus Himself said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6, KJV)
If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, today is the day. Repent, believe the Gospel, and follow Him while His mercy is still available.
