If you carefully track the ages recorded in Genesis from Adam to Noah and do a little math, you'll see something that has always fascinated me.
Scripture not only tells us how old each patriarch was when he had his son, but also how long he lived in total. When you line up those timelines and follow them through to the year of the Flood, here's what you'll find.

Methuselah, the oldest man recorded in the Bible, lived 969 years. When you look at the timeline, his death falls in the exact same year that the Flood occurred.
So, the question is: did he die of natural causes or did he die in the Flood.

I say this every year on this day. It's not named correctly. It should be "Bad Friday." Bad that Jesus was tortured.
Bad that Jesus died.
Bad that He chose to die because of our guilt.
Bad, just bad. Now, Sunday? That's the day we should affix "Good" to. Easter shoukd be known as "Good Sunday." Good for us because of His goodness toward us. So, it's "Bad Friday" and "Good Sunday" 😁... moreI say this every year on this day. It's not named correctly. It should be "Bad Friday."
