One of the descriptions of God in the Bible is as the Lion of Judah, a fierce fighter on behalf of His people. He is the God who created all things, the God of lightning and thunder. He has flooded the entire earth, blinded whole armies, and rained burning sulfur from the sky against those who opposed Him and His people. But God uses this same power to come to the aid of His people who declare their faith and loyalty in Him.
